Kelly has developed her equestrian skills over a lifetime of riding and has explored various equestrian disciplines, including hunters, jumpers, and competing at FEI 3-Day Events. While eventing, Kelly immersed herself in the techniques and principles of Classical Dressage and has continued a life-long pursuit of the art. She is a Unite
Kelly has developed her equestrian skills over a lifetime of riding and has explored various equestrian disciplines, including hunters, jumpers, and competing at FEI 3-Day Events. While eventing, Kelly immersed herself in the techniques and principles of Classical Dressage and has continued a life-long pursuit of the art. She is a United States Dressage Federation (USDF) Silver Medalist and a USDF L graduate.
As the Chair of Equestrian Studies at the Savannah College of Art and Design, she coached students in dressage, equitation, eventing, and jumpers. Her emphasis on horse well-being and biomechanics highlighted her holistic approach to horsemanship, ensuring that the horses' physical and mental health were central to her teachings in the lecture hall and arena.
